The Nobel prize committee

Al Gore? REALLY!?! I mean, I am all for the IPCC winning it - but Al Gore?! It's like there's now a US version of the prize. Then, you follow it up with Obama for the work you think he might do because of an effective campaign? Is it just me or does that cheapen the awards given to MLK, the Red Cross, Jane Addams, UNICEF, Amnesty International, Mother Teresa, Desmond Tutu, The Dalai Lama, UN Peace Keeping Forces, and Nelson Mandela?
